Peperomia puteolata - commonly known as Peperomia parallel - are semi succulent plants.  They are easy to grow but must be allowed to dry out between waterings. The reddish stems will initially grow upright and as they lengthen, they will begin to trail.

A good beginner plant that is pet-friendly.
