The Golden Pothos is a easy-care plant perfect for beginners. It features green leaves speckled with a golden variegation. As it matures, this plant creates long trailing vines, perfect for a hanging basket or an elevated space.

Care

Light: This plant prefers a well-lit area with plenty of filtered light, this will increase both the growth and variegation of the leaves. It can tolerate areas with lower light; however, the variegation will not be as pronounced.

Watering: Allow the top few centimetres to dry before watering. This plant does not tolerate overwatering, ensure it is in a well-draining soil mix and allow to dry out slightly between waterings to avoid water-logged soil.

Propagation: Like all pothos, this plant can be easily propagated by taking stem cuttings which include nodes and placing in water.

Pests: Keep an eye out for pests such as mealybugs or spider mites. If you notice any, treat the plant with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
