The Philodendron hastatum, also commonly known as the Silver Sword Philodendron is an eye-catching houseplant that features, characterized by its large, elongated, arrowhead-shaped leaves. The leaves are usually a silvery-blue or grayish-green color, giving the plant its name.

Light requirements: Philodendron hastatum prefers bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, it will thrive and develop its best coloration in a well-lit environment.

Watering: Allow the top inch or two of the soil to dry out before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to let the soil dry between waterings.

Humidity: This plant appreciates higher humidity levels, but it can tolerate average indoor humidity. Providing occasional misting or placing a humidity tray nearby can be beneficial.

Growth Habit: This plant is a vining type of philodendron, which means it will produce long, trailing stems that can be trained to climb or hang. It's not a true climbing vine, but it can be guided to grow on a support like a moss pole or trellis.

Propagation: This plant can be propagated through stem cuttings. Simply take a healthy stem cutting with a few leaves attached and place it in water or soil until it develops roots.

This plant is in a 100mm pot. Plants cannot be shipped to WA, TAS or NT.
